It turns out it's a change Microsoft made that affects all third-party theme enablers. If I change the theme back to the default "Windows (light)" theme without uninstalling SecureUxTheme the common dialogs work fine 100% of the time. Start11 is not the only program affected. Some (but not all) 64-bit programs experience the issue as well.

[quote who="basj" reply="1" id="3966356"] It is possible the issue happen because you're using, another 3rd party theme software that might be incompatible with Start11v2. Try this install Start11v2 in Windows Sandbox and see if the issue appear while in there. The "Backup settings" and "Restore settings" options in Start11 don't work: But the reset options work as expected. I get the Aero circle indicator for a split second when click either option but no common dialog appears to open or save the file. I smell a bug...

It would be nice if they added a feature to get the classic flyouts: On the left is StartAllBack, on the right is Start11 with ExplorerPatcher. The classic flyout is on the left. Does anybody else wish that?

No I do not. Though I do have an NTlite'd install. And yes, I re-installed WebView2 when the installer prompted me to: I'm currently using SecureUxTheme with the Aero7-11 theme: along with ExplorerPatcher to restore as much of classic Windows Explorer as I can: <

WindowBlinds says it is not correctly installed: Is ARM64 support missing or incomplete? Start11 works fine.

Start 11 is great, but it's missing two features StartAllBack has: the ability to customize the right-hand side of the start menu and the ability to hide the user account picture: I would prefer to use ExplorerPatcher with Start11, but unfortunately ExplorerPatcher is incompatible with StartAllBack. <p
