I am having the same problem, with the purchased version and I have uninstalled and re-installed with no improvement. Edit: I just installed CursorXP and then re-installed Cursor FX AFTER and that seems to have worked. Go figure.

Having the same problem here. Since the update to 3.49, my sidebar weather gadget stopped working and I get "DesktopX must be installed to use this gadget". I'm running Vista home premium and I am a subscriber to Object Desktop, so all versions are full paid versions.
