UPDATE on No Thumbnail previews on Vertical Taskbar: After trying on 3 different systems and managing to reproduce the issue, I found the problem and I consider it sort of a bug of Start 11: When the taskbar is horizontal, the thumbnails show every time I hover over the icons. But on vertical taskbar, when the windows taskbar behavior is not set to "always" combine the taskbar buttons, then there is no thumbnail preview. Probably Stardock had made the system fool proof for thi

I have repeated the uninstall reboot procedure multiple times all the way through the diffent beta updates and it was a waste of time at every attempt. As I wrote I also tried with an older laptop, slightly older Windows version. Problem still remains and only with vertical taskbar. I am not a developer and don't have dozens of different systems to try it on, but on 2 different ones it does not work. I am certain the problem is not unique with me and plenty of others simply do not bother with
I have posted multiple times and every time majestically ignored, that I cannot see the thumbnails preview when the taskbar is vertical. One other user had also confirmed having the problem and nothing has happened. I have installed the beta and now the latest 2.51 on an older backup laptop and the issue is still the same. I have tried to debug the issue alone through the different forums about not seeing the thumbnails but has not changed anything, especially since they work
As I have already posted, I see no thumbnail previews when I hover over the icons on the vertical taskbar. I tried it also on my backup older laptop and the behavior is exactly the same and the secondary vertical taskbar (right or left) also has no thumbnail previwes There is also a new bug I discovered, when the Start button is centered and I change the taskbar to vertical on the secondary monitor, the taskbar is empty, restarting the explorer does not fix it, but choosing from "cent

I just installed the latest beta and the option to move the taskbar vertically disappeared. I uninstalled completely, rebooted, re-installed and still not available.

Just played around with vertical taskbars. Unfortunately, they seem to be in early beta because hovering over the icons does not show anything. So either you have to drag the taskbar to be pretty wide to be able to read the labels, or there is no solution to find and click on your open window since all open windows of the same app have the same icon. The name of the app appears when hovering on icons of apps which are not open, just pinned on the taskbar, but nothing on open apps.
Fix for >2 monitor taskbar center mode. I am here to happily announce that I now have centered icons and start menu button on all my 6 monitors. Thank you guys, you are doing a great work and the novelties just before Christmas was a great gift.
