update your version of WB
From what I've been reading, I gather that StyleXP is going in a patching your kernel. I get the impression Bootskin doesn't do it that way. Have you tried all 3 versions of Bootskin? If so, you're basically SOL as for as using Bootskin goes unless you can figure out how to change your BIOS.
I issue I use to have with IconX was if my icons were set to align then sometimes when running IconX my icons would realign and stack a bunch on top of each other
If you manage your updates via SDC and have it set to autoarchive, then all you need to do is unistall the version you're running and restore archive for an earlier version
I agree with Zubaz. Been using ODNT 3yrs (never even tried the trials) with basically no problems. I use SDC (Stardock Central) to download/install/archive so when I use a BETA and it glitches, I have an easy roll back until the glitch gets resolved. but after seeing all the problems from the posts here How often do you go t
are you saying that you are only showing this because you want to know how it was done? so you can create you're own (and not by copying/using someone elses?)
okay, try = my computer, view system information, advanced tab, performance settings, visual effects tab, scroll down and see if 'use drop shadows for icon labels' is checked {might have to use 'custom'
kinda sounds like a corrupt file download or bad install OR your antivirus or firewall (maybe) I have no problem with Last Cobalt & in the 3 yrs using Stardock products have NEVER found any spyware. When I had NOrton - script blocking would cause errors and some docklets couldn't work since they needed internet access and NOrton would freak. Once script blocking was turned off and FW reconfigured = no problems. Once I switched to TMicro = no problems
Both I haven't tried it using both DTX and OD to hide it (or putting my dock at the bottom when using DTX).
*.logonxp is another name for *.zip that logon studio knows how to unzip and apply
(*.logonxp don't work, it must be folder with .bmp, etc.) *.logonxp works for me double click it or right click it and choose logon studio to open with
ODock's not a shell - it's an enhancement
Do you still have the taskbar set to always be on top? I do it that with Object Dock - set the taskbar to be on top, then use ODock to hide it - that leaves me room at the bottom for the dock and the windows don't maximize over it.
i already purchased window blinds and now its telling me to purchase and the trial is over. i don't get it why? did you uninstall the trial, reboot, then download and install the paid via the link sent you in the email? if so, did you use Stardock Central to download/install? <font
if you right click on IE and select Properties do you get the Internet Properties dialog box? yepper (once I used rightclick on dt > prop > desktop to put it back on the desktop) - that's what I got.
nevermind - your pic wasn't there when I was posting...thought you were looking for tutorials.
huh - the one on my desktop here at work is a "shortcut" - and has a 'change icon' option - but if I use the quick launch, it says it's a shortcut but the 'change icon' is blanked I get the mail dialog when right clicking the one in the start menu (not using classic start)
I may have misread what I read. I read it and I automatically thought of Aquarium Desktop. If you go into the Wincustomize DesktopX widgets gallery - advanced search - nature / animated you may find one that comes with some of the aquatics there. Also try an advanced search through the wallpaper section for 'nature'
It kinda hard to come up with fixes for BETAs since they are subject to change
If you right click on it, properties, and go into the change icon option, can you get it back?
The dates don't look quite right, have you tried updating via Stardock Central? WWW Link
Yep, kinda looks that way. I also suggest > unload, uninstall - reboot - download & install via Stardock Central (save your skins somewhere first)
Does this help? WWW Link
