your machine consists of what OS? Graphic card/drivers? did you turn off antivirus and/or other antistuff prior to installing? sometimes I have more luck (as of late) right clicking the choosing th option for download and archive - then go file > restore archive not sure why you thought you would get 6 - 5.51 was release just a couple of weeks ago I log in with a nick not an email - used to have to use an email, but that changed have seen the core.dll

See the other thread, "Conflict with ActiveWords 1.9?" got a link? until a fix is in, you can open WB configuration - change the look of a particular app (something to that effect on the left) - click add on the right, browse to the exe of the app and add it to not be skinned - or skinned only in certain ways (you get options near the end)
you also need each program for each part - ThemeManager only applies those part in which you have relevant software installed - it will also (I believe) download a trial version of any if needed
Last I read, the only thing you can change on the Vista Logon is the wall used. However, maybe, browse the vista logon gallery and see if there are any in which the font color has been changed. If so, get it and open it up and take a look see....

Considering the age of the Control Center listed in my SDC (when I looked the other day) - I think it is. I haven't used it for a year or so... been using ObjectBar off and on (I think the ObjectBar kinda replaced CCtr - so I gots no idea if I'm missing those options also - I'll have to look later this weekend after I get home.

Yeah, im having the same problems with Vista. You installed and ran Bootskins in Vista? no, it would be more like installed and tried to run Bootskin in Vista I don't think the Vista CD will repair since it's not a core Windows file Have you tried booting into safe mode and deleting it?

The link that was posted doesn't work... then numbers change as the gallery expands (sometimes) and it was posted over a year ago then once you add the shortcut you can change the png to one of the one's in the gallery one of the 'animated shortcuts' is just a demo - the other one works as a shortcut

it should really have a button "check for update" in the system info section. naw. then cracked versions might be able to be updated to a legit one Stardock Central let's me know when an update is available & allows me to make an archive copy of programs for easy rollback or to transfer to a new computer.
