Yea, I figured that's my best bet. Thanks KarmaGirl!

The DJ: Not to shabby for a first generation system beatin out Nintendo. The DJ, I know XBox may be winning in USA, but these are global companies. Did you ever see the sales in Japan? I'm from New York so it doesn't really affect me but, XBox did less than 200,000 while GC did close to 1,000,000. So you can't really consider them beating out
If you buy GameCube just for Wind Waker, it's worth every penny! I want XBox for the XBox Live but it's a waste of a system, name one good game besides Halo and Splinter Cell? PS2 is the only other viable option to GameCube, but I prefered Nintendo's style, Quality over Quantity in that case. So, I ended up with GC.
Some of the best WB skins (aside from the WB4 skins) were made around when WinXP first started becoming popular. You need to go about 20-30 pages deep in the WinCusto library to see them. I came around to WC in Jan/03. These skins were made in like June-ish/02. I missed out on some real treasures. Example: https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?library=1&SkinID=2773
Ok, heres the story. I installed LiteSTEP the other day to try it out, I didn't really like it, so I uninstalled it. Now, everytime I download a skin, WBLoad.exe crashes. I'm not sure if it's because of LiteSTEP, but I have nothing else to blame it on, b/c it worked before I installed LS. I was wondering if anyone else had this problem so I could maybe fix it without having to reinstall WB. [Messa
I think you're referring to J.River something or the other, this is the link. http://www.mediajukebox.com/
CAClark, don't take offense man, lots of people get moderated. Complaining won't really help you here, just try again.
#1) Internet Explorer #2) Avant Browser #3) Mozilla #4) Netscape In order of favorite to least favorite.
Grayhaze, if you want, this link might be of use to you. It's the EULA for Microsoft Design Gallery Live. It houses MS's clipart gallery. I didn't bother to read it, but im sure you can scrape up some usefull info from it. http://dgl.microsoft.com/mgo1en/license.asp
Grayhaze, do you think anyone actually reads license agreements? Take Microsoft for example, I've installed countless MS Apps and never once bothered to read their book they call a license agreement. I'm sure there is some very interesting info in there like, 'MS will send all your info to MS to keep tabs on all citizens on earth'. But I would never know, I never read it!! Also, even if you did make a license agreement, do you really think its gonna stop someone from ripping your skin? You'
I can be the beta-tester!! You really don't want me making any skins...it's not a pretty thing.
1st try, Lvl 5, Total 147
Hey T-Man, not sure if it's that important, but the Wincustomize Browser and Subscriber Resources links lead to 500 errors. Just thought I'd let ya know...
I'm over there --->
Soooooooooo, you peeple tink yu are suhmart, huh? Riddle me this... A woman shoots her husband. Then she holds him under water for over 5 minutes. Finally, she hangs him. But 5 minutes later they both go out together and enjoy a wonderful dinner together. How can this be?
Confucious say when question is hard, answer is also hard. /me thinks 1/7th of 28-4 * the number of dead bird + the number of alive ones less the twice of the four the...man where did I get my edjumacation?
Actually, it seems to me that WindowBlinds almost replaces WebBlinds on XP anyways. WB skins all the things webblinds does (except for toolbar buttons and throbbers), and does it better. I think Stardock should make webblinds into something like Y'z Toolbar. Atleast then it will have *some* sort of use. But anyways...one useless program out of 23 ain't bad!
Shmoopy you cursed me! As I read your post and saw the words "Spring allergy-attack" my body must of said "hey...it's been a good 8 hours...lets get him now!!!!". So as I type this...I am having a Spring allergy-attack. <
I got an idea to calculate downloads...but I don't know how well it would work... For each interval of downloads you get a point. Example, 2000 downloads = 2 points. This will favor the more DOWNLOADED skins rather than the person who submits more skins. So if you have say 5 skins where each skin recieved 5000+ downloads, you be way ahead of someone who submitted 50 skins but recieved 100 downloads on each. I'm not sure if I'm helping in any sort of way, it sounded l
This article is down-right scary. It's an interview with Steve Gibson in CPU Magazine. The man has some extremely interesting things to say about how secure the computer world is. http://www.cpumag.com/cpumay03/gibson Really sorry, I didn't realize you can't see the article unless you're a subscriber. Sorry for the post. /me runs and hides [Message Edited]
Too all people who wished for money, I say this. Chances are that one of your other two wishes will grant you the abilities to earn all the money you need! For instance, Frogboy would make an excellent UFC Fighter, they make decent money. I would be able to read your mind, what job couldn't I get, I would be the world's best sweet-talker! That third wish can be tricky...
My three are... 1. Immortality (with a magical pill just incase) 2. Ability to read peoples minds as a sixth sense. (ie: you can see, if you don't want too...close your eyes) 3. Still pondering this... I'd be content with the first two...still unsure bout my third...
You are walking down a deserted beach and spot a lamp in the sand. You pick it up, give it a rub and *poof*, out pops a genie! The genie says... "You have 3 wishes, you can wish anything from time travel, to bringing back lost loved ones, to a life-time supply of Pez! The only thing you can't wish for...is more wishes!" What would you wish for? <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif
My PC at home is a 2gig screamer...but I use some fossils at work! Right now I'm using an old HP Pavilion. P1-166 8x cd-rom 64mb EDO RAM 4GB Hard drive 19" Sony monitor stolen from a Dell workstation (they upgraded to LCD's) We also have a bunch of 486's in storage somewhere, I think they still work but not much use other than an ugly paperweight. The rest of the computers in our warehouse are p3-500's or better. H
