Thanks Basj. LibreOffice creates "lock files" to avoid them being used by two users at once. I presume this causes a similar problem to Fences as the "temp" files do in MSO. I switched off the "lock file" facility in LibreOffice but that didn't solve the problem. So it must be that, as with MSO, when a LibreOffice document is opened and written to, Fences sees it as a new file added to the Desktop. Couldn't this be fixed by one of Stardock's super programmers? Anyway I have created a Folder P

Hi, I'm so far still using the trial version of Fences and it's great so I will certainly buy. Much better than the free "Fences" equivalents. But I just have one problem which I can't find a solution to on the forum. I use LibreOffice and sometimes after I have opened, made a change and then closed a LibreOffice file from a Fence, the file icon appears outside the fence on the Desktop rather than staying inside the fence. This usually seems to happen if I have saved a change to the LibreOffi
