Fixed it. Uninstalled from D: where all my Steam games are. Added a steam library location on c: and reinstalled. PS problem went away as did issue with VmWare Workstation.

Steam overlay is off. MP settings match yours. Steam puts everything in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Multiplicity, User is regular user and PS launched via run as administrator.
I got it through Steam. Reverse from secondary to primary I have no issues. It's going right from primary to secondary where the mouse won't move.
Ok this one you can probably replicate. If I have a PowerShell window open as Administrator the mouse won't move to the other screen. Minimized it, mouse works. Non-admin PowerShell open mouse moves over fine. Not a big issue, just odd.
The default setting is to auto grab the mouse. Even if I change it to force doing a ctrl-alt to release the behavior is the same once I hit the edge of the screen on the primary PC. The mouse cursor disappears and does not respond to clicks or become visible again until I alt-tab. With no VMs running everything is fine. With the VM in the background and a paused or off VM in the foreground everything is fine. Only when a VM is running and displayed does the problem happen. VM tools are up to
When VMWare is in the foreground, fullscreen or not, the mouse will not move to the other computer and will disappear unless I alt-tab and put the program in the background. Using VMWare Workstation 16.1.0 build-17198959 and Multiplicity 3.55.
