I recently upgraded 6 computers to use Start11 V2. It works correctly on 5 computers, but on one of the computers it is unusable: The affected computer is a Surface Book 2 with Windows 11 Pro. The Start11 version is 2.05. The start menu icon (on the left) and the system tray icons (on the right) are both clipped, such that the bottom half of each icon is missing. I tried rebooting the computer, and also reinstalling Start11 twice, and also resetting the Start11
> Those can be drag and drop to sort it. I understand that, but it is tedious to manually sort the list on each computer. Could you provide a simple command to sort it automatically? Seems like an easy enough feature request.
Sure, here's an example of Start11 on one of my PCs:
Classic Windows always had a feature for sorting the Start Menu items. How to do accomplish this using Start11? Am I expected to manually drag+drop the names into alphabetical order? I have multiple computers using Start11 -- it would be very tedious! <img class="detail__media__img-highres js-detail-img js-detail-img-high" style="width: 393px; height: 483px; display: block;" src="https://external-content.duckduckgo.com/iu/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.guidingtech
I love the idea too but it might be easier said than done
Sorting would be quite easy for them to implement. Stardock is simply being lazy about addressing this longstanding customer request. Here's how you can sort the Start10/Start11 menu items manually: 1. Disclaimer: First save any important work. Always keep backups of your computer. Read the steps carefully. <p
When using Start10 with Windows 10, the start menu items appear in random order. I can manually drag+drop the items to change the order. But I have several computers -- this is very tedious. Is there a command that will automatically sort the menu items alphabetically? For example, in Windows 7 there was a registry key that you could delete, which would reset the ordering to be alphabetical. Something like that? Thank you!
