I use winrar and bandizip interchangeably and it seems to happen to both. I think when I drag and drop the extracted file to a non-default fence by accident the software sometimes will get confused as to where the file should go and end up placing the file in random fences.

Thanks for the reply, here's more details. 1. Windows 10 Version 1903 18362.535 2. 3.0.9.11 3. It's pretty hard to reproduce this issue but it seems to occur more often when I try to drag and drop the contents of an archieve file and the desktop gets slow. There's one time the extracted file even got stuck on the background desktop without being moved to any of the fences.

I've already set Fences to put all new icons and all types of files into my "Download" fence by default. Most of the time it works just fine. But sometimes when I extracted some files, they would go to my other fences at random. This is pretty annoying since I have to spend time finding out where the files actually went. How do I make sure the rules are followed every time?
