Hello, I have followed your instructions as described, including running both the purge & re-install as an Admin. Following several restarts, a user's account (restricted / standard) on the PC has a washed out, faded desktop almost as if the brightness setting had been increased to maximum. This effect sometimes stops as various apps are being accessed but always comes back again. Your help is gratefully received. Leigh

Hi, I've been using Start8 for a number of years without incident and I thought I would try Start10 for a friend. After successfully installing Start10 we noticed a problem straight away. This problem is a bright 'sheen' covering the desktop & its wallpaper, making it unusable. Has anyone else had this problem & got a solution please?
