D'oh. You have to click "enable mods" in the options. It works! :-) But where did the star names like "Assembly" come from if they are not listed in ? If I only wanted to use real star names, would stars like "Assembly" still show up on some maps?
How do I customize star names in Galactic Civilizations III? Ideally, I would like to use real star names if possible. I tried altering C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Galactic Civilizations III\data\English\Text\StarNamesText.xml but that did not seem to work, even when I copied the altered file to C:\Users\Nicole\Documents\My Games\GC3Crusade\Mods\English\Text\StarNamesText.xml For testing, I just did a simple find-and-replace on KAT
