I'll try that. Thanks
Thank you Basj. I have had this issue for quite a long time. It seems no matter what preset style I choose, I have had an issue with the white fonts for icons on my desktop turning to black after a I boot up again. My tedious work around for some time has been to just open the config panel for Window Blinds and hit load style again to refresh the fonts. As per Fences, which I could not live without, I used to have a folder and after saving my desktop layout,
Window Blinds on Win10 won't save font color for Desktop icons when powered down then restarted. I have to open config every time after a reboot then save the style again to turn the desktop fonts from black, back to white. Everything else about the style load is fine. Windows 10 Home 64bit OS build 19045.6456 Dell Inspiron 5566 i3-7100U 2.4 GHz 16gb ram Pilot
Version 6 of Fences has made my desktop so much more manageable. Thank you for this update. Yours truly, just a few cities away from you. Did have some issues with Multiplicity, and just stopped using it. WHich if fine. Fences does all I need. Good Day! Moved to Fences area
Thank You Basj, I was afraid if I uninstalled ver 5 trial, I might lose all file organization. I did uninstall it, after I figured out how to quit the program,, as well as other programs running using resources. I was able to run V 3 and everything is back to normal. Your programs are more than reasonably priced, but I did not need Chameleon, and I am able to peek with the standard Win functions, even though the Ctrl + Spacebar is more convenient. I don't care
I tried Fences 5 trial, and thought it was an upgrade, but did not realize it is only a 1 year subscription. To me, it only has a few things that I really like. However I don't see a way to uninstall the trial without losing my life time Fences I paid for with Object Desktop. Thanks in advance. Glen Short
Still trying to resolve similar issue.... but JUST A NOTE. If a files settings are hidden, you have to unhide it/ You can not just type the path in the address bar. Also a note to all....... do not forget to hide the file when you are done. System files are hidden for a reason.
