sdRohan, I did attempt the steps in the answer you reference to no avail. However, a few restarts later and it seems icon spacing have gone back to normal spacing. Thanks for assistance though.

Hi, basj, thanks for your response. In reply: Windows 10 Version 1809 OS Build 17763.292 Fences version: 3.0.9.11 (trial, 12 days remaining) Laptop monitor (Surface Pro 2017): 2736 x 1824 (Windows setting 'Scale and Layout' set to 175%) USB Monitor (Asus MB168B+): 1920 x 1080 ((Windows setting 'Scale and Layout' set to 100%) I have monitors set up so Start bar moves to USB monitor, but Fences stay on laptop monitor.
Was there any resolution to this? I'm having the same problem when connected to an external monitor. I have fences set up so they always stay on my high resolution laptop screen, but it's like the the icon spacing is scaling to the pixel spacing needed if they were being displayed on the lower resolution of the external (Asus USB) monitor. If i remove the external monitor, the icons readjust to the correct spacing.
It would also be useful if you could return back to the root folder in a single click.
That would seem to only be true if the actual files are not synced to the local PC. I could be wrong but....
Hi Sean, thanks for reply. Unfortunately it really is the case for File Stream, even for files set as available offline. A lot of discussion about it on google forums etc. I was surprised at first too. Any timeline on implementation of search for Frames?
+1. I'd like it to be just to the right of the hamburger icon, prehaps only visible when mouse on fence. In this scenario, when not at the fence's root folder, an icon to denote it's a portal would be useful, but different to the folder icon shown when at the root position for clarity (an unfilled folder symbol perhaps?).
+1 for search within fences. Would be AWESOME. I use google Drive File Stream, which doesn't allow indexing by windows (WTF!) so contents dont show up in windows start searches. Being able to search File Stream folders from a desktop portal instead of having to open a folder every time would be very useful.
