Thanks to everyone who shared their experience. It was fun to see all the computers.
Is this a Cable modem or Gateway with modem and router integrated? If you can still connect the old equipment, do so, and see if it works. If it does, login to the settings and make a note of all the network settings. Then connect the new equipment and verify the network settings are the same. It could also be an issue with your Windows Network settings.
If you set "Choose your mode" to Custom: To change the color of the text on the taskbar to white, change "Choose your default Windows mode" to Dark. "Chose your default app mode" can be Light or Dark.

I believe the apps in the Classic Subscription will continue to work if you let your subscription lapse. However, I believe with the newer subscriptions (not Classic), the apps will no longer function if you let your subscription lapse. I would extend my Classic Subscription if at all possible. If you don't and you decide to renew later, I don't believe the Classic subscription will be available.
Whoa! First, profanity is not allowed on this forum; second, please ask for help with your issue instead releasing your frustration on those willing to help you. Log into your account and then click your avatar on the top right of the page. Select Downloads and then find your product. Click the 3 dots and on the resulting screen you will see the Product Key (serial number) and the email address you used to purchase. You will also see activations, if there are any. After instal

Be aware that Stardock is closed for vacation, so it might be a few days before you get a response. "Stardock will be closed for the week starting on Monday, July 1st and we will be returning on Monday, July 8th. We will be monitoring support tickets and forums during this time but expect delays in responses during this time."
Ahh, fond memories of my first experience with the PC. The IBM PC. I was working for a software company selling mainframe utility software for the IBM 303X series. I remember there was also a hardware company in the building, and if I recall, a Megabyte of RAM for these machines was $10,000.00 US. Please show your age and share your first experience with the PC. <img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums/69/28/6928565/5af8f66c-2ea8-417d-a334-60ac4148564e.png" alt="" width="485"
I don't know if it is your terminology, but this makes no sense to me. I can not reproduce this issue as I understand it. You definitely need post a video of this issue as Basj suggested above, and you still haven't told us what version of Windows you're running.
Typical software experiences a major upgrade every two years. I will use Microsoft 365 as an example here. A subscription for Microsoft 365 Family costs $106.99 US. per year. This includes 6 licensed users with access to updates and upgrades, as well as, 1TB of Cloud storage for each user. That breaks down to $17.83 US per year, per user. On the other hand, a permanent license for Microsoft 365, single user costs $249.99 US. If you divide that by the typical upgrade cycle of two years, that's
Do you mean open any folder or any app on my computer? I don't seem to be able to resize any window once I open an app, at lest not by dragging.
Then you have a serious issue with Windows and what you're seeing with Fences is a manifestation of that issue.
What do you mean by the ObjectDock settings window? Are you talking about the "Home" tab or the "Settings" tab? Also what is your Windows version XXXXX.XXXX?
Open any folder on your computer and that window is File Explorer. Try to resize it vertically by dragging the bottom of the window with the resize cursor. I have pretty much exhausted my suggestions, but please continue to work with Basj as he will be more likely to find what is causing your issue. pelaird
Are you able to scroll the fence contents vertically? Do Explorer windows resize vertically?
pelaird suggested trying Start 11 "Enhanced" options. Sadly, they don't really make things any better, no matter what combination of button display options I try. And they take up a lot more space. This is how it looks as the moment here, using "Never combine taskbar buttons". The other options are worse. THIS is how this works as standard on Windows _10_, with no Stardock Start 10 installe
Yes. But when I try to drag and move, the cursor moves, but not the bottom of the Fence.
Does holding the shift key down while dragging make any difference?
When you place your cursor over the bottom edge of a fence, does it change to the "Resize" cursor?
You're welcome. Just had a feeling that might be the problem. This setting seems to be the default for Notepad. [e digicons][/e]
