Pretty sure there aren't any keyboard shortcuts for the Start 11 configuration settings. If you mean shortcuts for navigating the Start Menu, you can use the same Windows shortcuts you use in the Windows Start Menu. Use the Tab key and the Arrow keys to move your selection around and the Enter key to open the selection.
You can achieve this by turning on "Start menu should open showing all programs list" in the Advanced options and then resize the Start menu as small as it will go. Unfortunately you will not be able to display most used apps at the top.
All you have to do is open Start 11, click "Configuration menu," and at the top add any locations to you need to the "Shortcut List" and then set those shortcuts to "Display as menu." Now, open the Start Menu, and then click on the shortcut in the "Quick Access Shortcut list."

Make sure you have "Use Windows 11 menu style icons" turned off. (See below) Then you can right click a tile and select a custom color for the background.
Glad to help. I actually found this when trying to remedy the same issue with the tabs in Groupy. I don’t ungroup the taskbar buttons, because with Groupy the tabs are in the actual Explorer window. You should try it. [e digicons]B)[/e]
Having migrated to Windows 11, I have now installed Start11 purely to reinstate the ability to de-combine taskbar buttons. I much prefer that each open Word document have its own button, but Windows 11 insists on combining them into a single button for Word. However, I often flick between different file explorer windows, and find it frustrating that buttons for File Explorer show the first part of the entire path, rather than the folder name. Note
Okay, so I’m not complaining, but it’s been a year since a new version of the beta has been released. Is it about time for a new version, or for DeskScapes 11 to be out of beta? I have been using it without issue on Windows 10 since version 10.96 (beta 5). There are a few annoyances, but nothing causing any real issues.[e digicons]B)[/e]
Please, for the love of God, give us the option to show the battery percentage to the taskbar in Start11!
I assume you know the battery percentage is shown when you hover over the battery icon in the Taskbar. If you are asking for an option to always display it on the Taskbar, I wouldn't get my hopes up for Microsoft to do this. The fact that the data is available in the OS, it's possible Stardock could capture this data and display it on their custom Taskba
I would like to thank Stardock Software for working tirelessly on providing their users with an alternative to the Start Menu and Taskbar on Windows 10 and 11. I have used a lot of different software over the last 30+ years and never have I seen a company that listens to and works so closely with its users in customer support! I haven't seen anything like this thread on any of the Stardock forums since I became a member in 2018. It's totally inappropriate for the tone taken towards St
I also agree that Icon Packager is due for an update. This package is very powerful and could be a big seller if it is marketed correctly. I can't imagine that it would be terribly difficult to update, however, all of the Stardock human resources seem to be involved in the Start 11 project. Everything else seems to be on the back burner for now. The only drawback that I see is that it would need to be backward compatible with the hundreds of Icon packages available on WinCustomize.
Well that's open to opinion and whether your eyes can tell the difference.
Thank you for these comparisons. I agree that individual sizing is better on some icons, but OS scaled sizing is okay on others.
I have read of a way to have DeskScapes show additional information on the desktop. I think that I saw something about that during the initial setup but chose to have it not be shown. What does that show (system uptime, filenames of current backgrounds, and things of the sort) (?)? Can I have it shown without uninstalling and reinstalling DeskScapes?
Read through this post. <a href="https://forums.stardock.com/508845/desktop-informatio
If you want to use a color for the text in the Desktop Info Panel of DeskScapes 11 that is not available in the preset colors, open Regedit and go to the following String and change the Data Value to your custom color. Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Stardock\Deskscapes\DS11.ini\Clock\ColourOveride <p style="margin: 0.25em 0px
I found and am able to use a custom color by changing the Value Data for the ColourOveride string in the Registry. Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Stardock\Deskscapes\DS11.ini\Clock\ColourOveride This value is Decimal, so you must first convert your color to a Decimal value.
Also, pleas consider adding a "custom color" option in addition to the available preset colors for the Info Panel. Most of the available colors are too pastel to show well on light backgrounds. Thanks
Which cursor are you referring to?
There are cursors with over a 1000 daily downloads. Typically, 50 to 75 daily downloads are the range for very popular cursors. Are these real downloads or is there a glitch in the system? Just curious because there has not been this much interest in CursorFX for a while now.
