Does ray tracing have any effect or is it rasterization?

i'm still curious what tuning people have done to get benchmark on crazy 8000pts +. I have managed 7700 only.

Got it sorted. killed everything off and started over, + backdated windows. All works perfect again.

aside from deleting the ini, yes.

short stuttering, just enough to notice. Running i7-8850h w gtx1080, win 10. Not had this before, nothing in the HW logs to give me a clue. my decktop keeps crashing too, but I think that is gpu (ryzen 9 gtx1080ti). Will get the driver versions.

anyone else got hickup's since the last update? Laptop started doing it.

I have got to 7600 score now. Im working on OC'ing the GPU, with little joy. Re the CPU, is multi thread/core or single thread better? Also loaded the monitor specific driver.

its a 144hz 1080p. i have 16gigs of 3200 ram. Its an evga ftw3 with morpheus 2 on it.

I have a 3900x with a gtx 1080Ti yet i can only get 60odd fps. How are you guys getting more? Im using game settings per benchmark page.

Which cpu should I go for, a 9900KS with no further evolution on the platform expected, but darn good, or ryzen 3900x with zen3 less than a year away?

Does hunter/prey come as its own download file or is it auto download? Steam says I own it but there is no download anywhere.
