Actuall, AzDude, I found a work-around. I turned off CursorFX as start-up program with msconfig, then rebooted. This will work, as I don't want to re-install CursorFX. I've already incorporated scores of cursors into the program, and a re-install will require that I reload all those cursors again, right?

Tried one and lo and behold my web browser opened to an activation screen. So that's where that activation link was hiding. Had a text file downloaded to my computer, after which I was to submit it back for activation. The web site claimed there was no record of my purchase despite my purchasing history showing
