I've just installed the latest update and now any new icons that are created on my desktop (my downloads go there among other things) end up being placed in the top left corner of my desktop even though there is a fence there. This means that I can't see or access them without moving the fence. Prior to the update, the new icons would appear on the desktop somewhere outside the fence. I've tried rebooting, disabling & re-enabling Fences but the problem persists. I'

Excellent! I installed 3.0.7.7, ran disable-all-tests.reg , and restarted and the lag is completely gone. (The downloads, including instructions.txt , can be found here .) Thank you!

Add me to the list of people experiencing this problem. Reverting to Fences 3.03 has resolved it. If anyone from Stardock reads this, you might want to point people to this thread when they ask about desktop lag in Windows 10. I contacted you a couple weeks ago about this and again last week and the only response I got was to uninstall, run the cleaner, and re-install.
