Windows 11 - 23H2 - 22631.3737 Intel Core i7-11700 (11TH Gen) - 32 GB I am running SurfShark Anti-virus.

I am getting so fed up with these programs. This is the 4th program I am trying to install and it will not install either through Object Desktop or an individual download. I get no error message, it simply quits. This is the same behaviour I have encountered with other installs of programs that are part of the Object Desktop package. Is there some sort of blanket process I can follow for these installs to get them installed the first time? Very frustrated!

I repeated what I did with Fences - I went into System Configuration and chose to do a Safe Boot. After re-booting, I was able to run the Purge and then re-install Deskscapes.

I downloaded both v11 and v11-beta. Neither one installs. I see the progress bar appear, it gets about 1/3 of the way through, and then the window just closes. I do not see any messages in the windows event logs.

I tried to install Deskscapes 11 through Object Desktop and my anti-virus (SurfShark) would not allow it. It reported that it contains malware: Drop.Win32.WinSelfCopy.5200 Drop.Win32.RegStartupSelfCopy.31103122 Please advise. Thanks!

I did something a bit simpler. I went into System Configuration and chose to do a Safe Boot. After re-booting, I was able to run Purge Fences and then re-install Fences. Unfortunately, I lost my configuration of Fences as I was never able to back it up after the removal of Start11 but I have Fences back. Even with all these issues, I am still willing to upgrade to Object Desktop. I am only waiting to hear on whether I can get a credit for Fences 5 applied to my purchase since

Further to my last post, after a re-boot, I decided to re-try the Purge Fences program. I realized that every file it tried to delete gave a message of "The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process." Thus, nothing got deleted - the Fences folder retained all its files.

I followed all the steps and still get the same error during install. I didn't have a chance to click any button as the screen disappeared by the time I read it. I did not re-boot. Over to you ...

I recently installed Start11 for a trial. The trial expired and I uninstalled it. Now, the fences that I previously had no longer appear on my desktop. When I click the icon for Fences in the Start menu, it tells me it can't find Fences.exe. I downloaded the latest build again and attempted to re-install but keep getting an error: Retry just closes the screen.

Still having issues - can anyone assist? Thanks!

I have 2 others logging in with the same account to Windows, one laptop and another PC. I am not, however, sharing theme settings - I do not know how to do that.

I have SoundPackager v10.0 and am having trouble with the sounds not staying applied. I chose to install the Commander sound pack and it would work for a bit and then my system reverts to the default Windows sounds and I have to re-apply the sound pack - it is really annoying. I had thought it was an issue with my PC but I just installed it from scratch on a brand new Dell and I have the same issue - Windows 20H2 build 19042.1083. Any help is appreciated. Thank
