Reply to upgrading from fences2 to 4 in Fences Stardock Forums

Thank you so much for your response basj. My concern is just to keep everything at their own places in fences after upgrading. If the 'snapshots' feature is not compatible for upgrading from 2 to 4 then I am gong to have big trouble. Therefore I am trying to get a solid answer to my question.

upgrading from fences2 to 4 in Fences Stardock Forums

I plan to upgrade from fences2 to 4 (on win10) and wondering what should I expect. I have two monitors with very crowded desktops (yes, even with fences). I don't want to reorganize hundreds of icons into fences again if the fences4 installer messes everything up. I appreciate any input.
