Hello I'm posting in an old thread hoping it could get another look from the devs- It would be great to do this for programs that are like playing video or your music player, it'd make it much more useful I reckon. I'm going to try and use it as is again but I foresee wanting to be able to view videos playing in the background. Thanks!
Also it is worth mentioning that fences is slow on my laptop which is a Spectre x360 with an i7 6560u cpu and 16gb ram I hope we can find a solution!
@Jafo, I don't know what could be making things run oddly. I am running Win10 1809. I have considered a fresh windows install but I feel like it is a bit overkill for just one software. I might end up doing it though on a slow day :P Thanks matey
Cheers Azdude, I tried to say in my post that those were the recommended steps I took already and still experience the problems.
I think several other people have reported this problem, but I figure the more people who write about the problem the more sample size Stardock has to try and fix the problem. I have tried the solutions I've found through google from Stardock -the bat file that "resets" fences, I have also tried reinstalling fences but still have the problem. The software is borderline unusable, most times when I go to unroll my fences my desktop freezes till it r
