One other note, I don't know if by me switching the setup and it working instantly it gave you any clues as to why it didn't work the original way, but it would be nice if it did give you a clue because as I was just about to take a break I realized that by having this setup my Laptop has to always be on in order for things to work and I don't always use my laptop not to mention that it is set to go to "sleep" after a little while. SO although this works for now, I hope you can find a

I double checked everything, all good with the install location and license file. Funny you should tell me to swap the computer primary and secondary, I was about to try that. Anyway, I did switch the computers primary / secondary etc and everything started working instantly. YAY!!! Not the way I wanted to have it but it works! I truly appreciate all of your time and effort and prompt service. Carry on and thank you!

Yup, I was looking in the correct place, I just looked again and there is only 1 error and it is totally unrelated. I see no trace of anything Multiplicity in the log. I reviewed all of the warnings and Information entries as well.

FYI, I am using the same two computers I have been using for many years with the program working flawlessly in multiple states and Countries with the same router. Before you say anything about the computers being a few years old, they are both Lenovo with 16GB RAM and Intel i7 processors. I love your program! Let's figure it out. I am willing to grant you access to the computers remotely if necessary. Thanks

So I decided to try Safe Mode and ran the Purge program again. I also reinstalled Multiplicity after that and reboot. I started Multiplicity in Admin mode after the reboot and when it did a scan of available computers it found my secondary and asked for the passcode which I supplied along with my license code. All good with the Purge, Reinstall and reconfiguration up to this point. Unfortunately Multisrv.exe and MultiplicityConfig.exe and MP2Control.exe show up as running task

wait, multipl2.exe showed up when I had the multipliconfig app open under admin. after I closed the configurator multipl2.exe disappeared. Only Multisrv.exe and MP2Control.exe show up now. Then I reopened multiplicontrol.exe and now only that and multiplicitycontrol.exe and multisrv.exe show up show up.

Yes, I installed under the admin account, also did the install by choosing run as administrator. Yes both the primary and secondary are on the grid. When I did the purge and reinstalled on the primary I had to give it the secondary passcode. When I did I got a message saying succesfully connected to the secondary computer.

I checked and Multiplicity / Stardock does not appear as an option in order to show it in the system tray. To answer your question though, the cursor will not move over to the secondary.

What stands out the most is that even after the Purge procedure and all the reboots etc, Multiplicity still does not show up in the System Tray where it always has been on the Primary computer. It does show up on the secondary.

I went though the manual, both computers ping each other ok. I also tried rebooting the router and turning off firewalls. Still no luck, Any other ideas? Do you guys do remote login?

Thanks for the reply, I followed the instructions and after providing the secondary passcode I got a message on the primary saying that it successfully connected. Unfortunately my keyboard and mouse still only work on the primary. Any other instructions? On the primary it still does not show Multiplicity as running in the taskbar.

My primary computer no longer shows Multiplicity running in the task bar. I start the program manually by clicking on the app and running in administrator mode but nothing works. Both primary and secondary are connected via Ethernet cable and I have also tried with both Wifi and Ethernet on. Also the opposite. I don't think the program is loading on my primary, it does show active on the secondary. I've been using this program for years and it just stopped working completely after the last Wi
