If i were you i'd pop sales an email stating your current situation as im sure they'll look at this and provide you with a V2 key Free seing as you only just purchased V1. Having this conversation out in the open is probably something stardock dont want and like you said they are running a business.
@Basj When updating using your recent softwares are you still recomending to uninstalling previous version restart then install new and restart or is a dirty update and restart the recomended way? PS.. Sorry for jacking OP's post.
PLEASE ADD.......... Can you please add an option that makes tabs revert back to a user chosen tab after launching a shortcut. Just like you have it in pages. When selecting a shortcut from page #2 Start11-v2 will revert back to page #1, this would be nice for tabs too. [e digicons]:beer:[/e]

BUG or NOT? The feature under Search "Show results from Everything instead of start 11" has a problem. I have Everything Light installed and running as a Service. I also have everything start on system start. This causes a problem for Start11-V2 as Start11's search with the above option selected cannot access everythings search results. If i prevent everything from loading the GUI at start then this isnt a problem for Start11. Not sure if this is becuas

UPDATE: Just discovered when switching windows 10 search mode from Enhanced to Classic this seriously improves the speed of Start11 search. is start11 optimised to use windows10 enhanced search? Can someone check this on windows11 would be interesting to see the results.

Guys you really need to sort out the search feature it is soooo painfully slow. I can search for something in my documents folder and it takes around 30 secs to show. (Done the normal TS.. Rebuilding Winindex etc...) Switching to Classic search dramatically speeds things up but looks dated with small text which doesn't make for a pleasant experience. I feel you either make huge gains in the search department or lighten start11 and scrap search and just let windows deal wit

Sorry my bad for not explaining in detail. I got a surface pro device (running win11) with start 11 installed. When i touch the start button (with finger) start 11 menu pops up as expected but if i touch start button and swipe up the windows 11 start menu appears. Hence why i asked if it was a feature because i don't see any setting that turns this behaviour of. you'd need a touch screen to relate to what im asking. <
Swiping up on the start button to bring up windows start menu is this a feature? Can this be switched off?
