Attached - please let me know if I can provide any more info or troubleshooting. I think if you mean the default width of just the icon size, yes, it is offset (as opposed to the release version where it wasn't offset at all), but my main use case of having the taskbar on the left is to be able to have quick access to the windows with their titles visible like this. <img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums/6/65/665150/da56e874-0562-4cbc-bf9d-ea75e0ef843a.png" alt="" width="192

Hey Adam - thanks for the beta! The fix didn't work for me. Using Chrome or Explorer to create many windows and then hovering over one of their taskbar items will still block a chunk of the taskbar. They are still horizontally positioned in the popup.

Hi - any updates on this? I'd be happy to try out a beta version of a fix. I posted a similar issue a few weeks ago - https://forums.stardock.com/536822/page/1/ - and it's constantly frustrating because it does block my ability to click in the vertical taskbar.

Here's a simple repro: Open enough explorer windows open that the preview is wider than your screen (about 10 for me), then hover over one of them in the taskbar. The tiling happens horizontally and obstructs the vertical taskbar. This makes it much harder to get to the items that are being obstructed. See image below. Let me know if I can provide a

Hey Neil - I can't speak to the intended behavior, but it's not the behavior that I want or expect (nor how it behaved ~1 month ago). To me the point of having the individual windows broken apart in the taskbar is that the previews aren't necessary. If they were all grouped together then the previews would serve great as a way to drill down into a specific one. I just checked on a Win 10 machine, and there's some sort of logic that causes the previews equivalent (just a list o

I'm using the 2.53 beta and have my taskbar set up on the left side of the screen. Enhance Taskbar is on. I'm remote desktopping into this machine regularly and when I do, the taskbar behavior of showing the preview of the different windows of an application on hover resets every time. To fix it, I go to Taskbar Settings (native) -> Taskbar Behaviors -> "Combine taskbar buttons and hide labels". It's set to "Always", to fix this problem, I change it to another value. The value t

[quote who="mping" reply="95" id="3969121"] Quoting the_equalizer, reply 54 I also have a suggestion/request, if it hasn't already been made: There is a lot of wasted space here, would it be possible to put some of them side-by-side? 100% this. Like the old Win7 days or the current alternative "Start

I'm using Start11 2.51 to set up a vertical taskbar on the left side of the screen on Win11 24H2 26100.4202. I've pinned the icon for Voidtools Everything to the taskbar and when I open Everything, the entire contents of taskbar shift several pixels. Then when I close it, the whole taskbar shifts again. Bizarrely, this happens even when Everything isn't at the very top (ie. if it's the second or third pin down). All of the taskbar items shift together and it doesn't look like the Ever
