All Sci-Fi can be a copy of previous sci-fi on some level if you look at it the right way. Any idea you have now has been used before in some way, pre-cursors, sentient robots, hyperdrive, stargates. It's all been done before and it'll all be done again in new and inventive ways in the future. I don't believe at any point anyone set out to activly copy anything though.

I also just ran into the cheat codes detected thing. I didn't use any and it had no problem submitting the score, however the metaverse now tells me I used some during that game.

The first thing that strikes me about the game is the obvious graphics, I hate to make a comparison because everyone else will do that too, but the main menu has a very Civ IV feel to it, with the rotating asteroids and crisp vocalized music. As all good gamers do the first thing I did was press options. One thing that did strike me as odd here was that there were very few graphical options, with a game as pretty as this I would have ex

The metaverse seems fine for me now also... Except for when I finished a metaverse game, when trying to post the score, I'm told "Your serial number does not match that of the metaverse server." I checked the serial I have on Stardock Central and the one used to create the character on the metaverse and they both match so I'm not sure what that's all about.

I just created a character, went to upload an image and suddenly my character was someone else's Checking my profile here on the forum it's fine and lists the character I made. But accessing edit my characters on the Metaverse presents me with the same different character, Raute.
