Okay, thanks! That is showing as Snapshots in v5.04, so it did not hit me as a backup. Fortunetly, it has been working.

Fences get emptied in Fences Stardock Forums

Fences have gotten totally emptied with icons going on desktop. Over the last 18 months or so it has happened twice during reboots. Windows gets started and the fences are empty with icons all over the desktop. Now I have to try to remember where the icons belong and rebuild all the fences. This is fences 5 upgraded from 4 couple of weeks ago. The previous occurrence was on v4. This is in Windows 11 Pro 23H2 x64 with lots of disk space and oodles of memory.
