Me too, only happened after v1.0.8

Thanks.
Thanks very much for the explanation. Glad to hear that Start10 is not tottering on shortcut files. ;)
This seems to be a problem with Start10 as the software refers to shortcut files rather than going direct into the system to do these things. If the shortcut the program relies on gets deleted the program falls over. Just hope Start10 doesn't rely on dubious links like this for its major operations.
[quote who="Neil Banfield" reply="18" id="3607267" There should be one in all programs yes and we do link back to that one. [/quote] Wow. Really?? That is a quick fix way of doing things, don't you think? A shortcut sitting on another shortcut makes an unstable platform. If (as in my case) the shortcut the program is balancing on is deleted then the program itself fails (as it has in my case). The professional way to implement calling the sys

This bug first happened after upgrading Windows 10 to the big 1511 update last month. So it is most

When using Start10 in Modern Style and setting up the Right-hand Shortcut list I choose to add 'SETTINGS' (Win10 Settings) to the right hand menu bar but it does not appear. Instead it puts an incorrect link in the right list called 'Desktop'. When this erroneous link is clicked it says: program 'immersive control panel' not found. The right-hand menu bar worked correctly with 'Settings' until Windows released 1511. Now I cannot seem to get
I am considering buying Start10 after trying the trial version. But will I get FREE updates as Start10 point-releases become available, or will I have to keep paying for it with every release? I ask because with the latest Win10 1511 release some start10 features either didn't work or played-up. (For example, I had the Win10 'Settings' on the start10 'modern' menu but it dissapeared after 1511 upgrade happened and didn't come
