The software offered by Stardock is NON ESSENTIAL. It's a NICE TO HAVE. No-one is going to purchase the software for their laptop and NOT use it on their other laptop/desktop. Either you see the value in the software or you don't. Let me help Stardock understand one thing. Loyal paying customers ARE ESSENTIAL. I have a desktop and a laptop, each running numerous Stardock programs. I just went to upgrade to Fences 4 only to see SINGLE activation and FIVE activations. I've just read the Software EULA. Slightly poorly thought-through policy for the average user. I wont be upgrading. The new pricing/activation schedule doesn't work for me. Quite simply, daft.
