It places Devhome, nvidia control panel, new outlook, and microsoft store and others at top level of all programs menu windows 7 but will not let me put them into subfolders etc. Can't figure why I can't move them. I can delete them in s10 roaming folder and they disappear but eventualy come back. I have to do an uninstall of apps to permanetly remove from menu. Now down to store and nvidia control panel. I may uninstall them too. Seems only apps from store act this way.

The S10 folder seems to be getting unwanted entries from C:\Programs\WindowsApps. Which is a hidden folder. Seems to have something to do with Microsoft Store downloads.

I have two computers using start11 v1.55. Both have been recently formatted and Windows 10 v19045.5371 installed. My problem is the S10 folder in AppData/Roaming/Stardock seems to what to put the Windows Store on the all programs menu + nividia control panel and intel graphic control center. Something in Tues. Microsoft update to Windows 10 conflicts with Start 11 v1. Trying to select properties for a file or folder hangs Windows Explorer. Both Start 11 std v1 and beta v1 are affected. I dropped back to Start10 and problem is gone. The preview version of MS update from the end of Oct also had the problem.

The windows 7 menu in Start 11 is taller than the one in Start10. I wish the one in Start 10 was shorter more like the one in the Start 10 modern theme height. The Start 11 menu covers a desktop shortcut I need and it also leaves too much blank space under programs and start menu. Again the height of Start 10 modern theme is ideal for me but I prefer windows 7 menu layout and appearence so Start 10 is my best choice.

Bought an upgrade from Start10 to Start 11 yesterday. After trying Start 11 I found I prefer Start 10. Tried to deactivate Start 11 so as to save for future but can't. Support help center directions don't work. If I do uninstall will that deactivate it on Stardock site so I might use it in the future on another machine.

After reading chriscantrell07 posts I tried something. I don't use a password on my desktop but I like the pre anniversity update screen on startup of the window picture and round picture of me. After anniversity update using lockscreen startup option I tried to get it back. I did but over half the time on startup I got a solid color screen with the picture. No apparent reason why. I also used the Windows 7 menu like chriscantrell07. When I switched to Modern menu as he did, startup
