Bringing up start menu with windows key does not make taskbar appear in front of fullscreen windows in Start10

Having the same issue as of Windows 10 Build 14393, Start10 v1.11. Hitting the windows key (Left or right, both will open the start10 menu regardless of "Show the Windows 10 menu when I press the right windows key" being enabled) will cause the Start10 menu to open, but the windows taskbar will not be visible. Issues occurs in every game running in borderless windowed.
