Altarian Prophecy will not run in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

I installed via Drengin.net. The various tools start but tring to run the game fails. No error. It just start, flips into full screen mode (with a blank screen) and drops back to the startup bubbles... Ideas? Ed Tomlinson (tomlins@cam.org) ~SDC~

I have been playing Galciv from the early OS/2 versions. It was the one thing I really missed when I moved to linux. I did keep the subscription to stardock's mailing list just in case. I was happy to seen the windows version - I play it on my son's box... I would _really_ like the option of a 3D map. ie forget the idea of sectors, show the influence of planets/starbase as suggested. I do not think that 3D for planets would be that much of a plus though. Ed ~SDC~

I want to keep all non system stuff off my C: drive. How do I tell Drengin where it should put stuff I ask it to install? TIA ontadata ~SDC~

Would it not make more sense to base repair on a forumla like: hp += (max_hp - hp)*repair_rate This way repair would be fast at first and slow down when nearly repaired. Comments ontadata
