Thanks Scott, Wish I'd know that earlier! Why does it default to half the population if that's not the 'suggested' size? Oh well, let's try this again, see if I can't survive a bit longer!

Forgive the n00bnewss ;) The amount of people on a starting colony affects morale? The colony ship you start with has 100 mil. Is this a good ballpark for colony ships? I've been putting 500-800 million on, and firing them off. Would this explain why morale is always so low on new planets? Can anyone elaborate why? Thanks
