I got impatient and purchased the regular version and hadn't actually checked back in here till just now. :D That is good news about the map editor though, thank you.

Just a quick question before I decide to purchase the regular or lifetime version. When the game hits release will there be a map editor? The reason I played Starcraft for 10 years was because of this. And the reason I dropped the second one into a box in the basement after completing the campaign is the same because of the absurd lockdown it came with. Also, any thoughts on long-term mod support?
Ok, this is the first time I am posting on any stardock forums. I adored galciv2 and have high hopes for this game, especially now that it has multiplayer. On the topic at hand though, I do understand the need for less powerful systems to be able to run it and be stable.
