Popup Tarqet, Perhaps your approch may work for me. I try to stay out of fights till I can build battle hammers and even then I try not to step on anyones toe's. I may need to play more aggressive early as you have stated. I'll give it a try. :) Thank you very much for your view. :)

RayChua, you are my hero,you won on a "tiny map" and a tuffer level with all five races? at a score of 536! Thats more impresive than having highest score! Way to go! :CONGRAT:

BerryB, any victory condition I could stay out of war with is ok with me. :) I just don't want to be attacked in the beginning of the game. I'll try setting the A.I. to pure good. Thank you. Feargus, battle hammers are what I shot for fist to start making becuse thay are the best defence/offance ship before battleships in Ver 1.03A But I always get attacked before I can make them. I tried being good.evil and netrul. I tried trading to the max. I tried making corvetts early so thay might leave me alone. I have paid tribute faithfully. I tried all races neutrul. I tried not to make contact. I have failed at all attemps! What ever trick you are using to stay out of WAR please explain how and don't leave anything out becuse that little you leave out is what going to make it NOT work. P.S. I play on
I tried the corvetts to keep from war but had no luck thay still attacked me. :p I am missing something becuse I belive there are players who know how to stay out of war but I don't see how I tried every trick tolled to me. :p
Christopher Packer, Thanks for the tip I'll try it. I hope it will work on tiny and small maps, thats what I play on. What size do you play on?
I wish I could help but I'm in the same rut!No matter if I trade to the max , be bad,neutrul or good or pay tribute to stay on good side , the A.I. races all seem to all attack me about the same time if thay see the slightes sign of weakness. :p I see no way of advoiding war when I play. I don't see how other people advoid it? :notsure:

For me I find tiny map with scares planets the hardest game to play becuse everyone is fight for solarsystems right off the bat! Very little time for R&D Tiny planets are highly under rated!Diffently the tuffest. :)

Grrrr stop updating!!!!!! as you have been and speed it up!!!( whip snapping in the back ground! ) LOL Perhaps you might enjoy the game more if you uninstalled it and reinstall it just play it as is off the disk,it should work just fine as is. Updates are just more bells and whistles and tweaks.I belive most bugs come from the bells and whistles thats why thay tweak. ;) Play game as is and when G.C.2004 or so comes out buy it Im sure the bombers will be in it. :) <b
Side note of thanks to Code Monkey and Desert Fox: Both of you have always try help people that were having problems and you have both helped me in the past and now you are still helping people, Thank You. What I love about G.C.players is we are like famly,we don't always agree with each other but were ther when the chips are down. :)

fleabitfox I agree. I have never felt as loyal to a comunity as I do with G.C. When I first started reading this fourum I said to myself this frogboy really gets into helping people out, perhaps more then this Brad guy I keep hearing about LOL only to find out thay are one and the same and NOT JUST the most loyal fan but mother and father of the game! I was floored,to see such devotion that I have never with any other game group. I may be in left field here but I feel like G.C

Try a new game from start not a saved game you may have a bad saved game your saving off of. :notsure:
I will only play small maps so I don't have to mop up at the end game. P.S. That and the fact I can't get a score over 91 LOL
I played a game that crashed. I clicked load last civ. And form there I played many saves from then, game ref.4,5,6,7,8 ect. It keep crashing everytime I had to make a moral dission. I thought it was a bug then I remember that it crashed 5 saves ago. P.S. I was going to reinstal 1.02 I have 1.03 lol LOL

It has be posted many time in this thread here but Good tech / Neutrul tech / Evil tech ex:you want to reseach for battle hammers? I guess you will have to pass on 10% planet bounus and save all the wild life on the plant you just got becuse battle hammers are deffencive ships and that is only Good tech and your neutrul with stats at 68 guess your going to need that extra bump of kindness to get to 70 or over. :)
