Hi...just updated to 1.08 and still have the "no sound" problem after about 6-7 minutes today. Very annoying because it requires a system reboot to get sound restored to my PC. Here is today's debug.err file: Your file is available at http://filebin.ca/wwwqyv/debug.err or http://filebin.ca/wwwqyv Elemental has a lot of potential and interesting game play, but it is too annoying to enjoy in

Count me in the "wish I had waited for version 1.13" crowd. Too frustrating to play a game that has so much going for it but then hits you with one glitch after another. I appreciate the efforts of the Stardock team to make it right...but this one gets put aside for a while until they do. Clearly was released too early...paying customers should not be beta testers!

Back after a few days...updated my Realtek driver today and had sound for about 3.5 minutes, then lost all sound when I went to the Main Menu. Here's the most recent debug.err file: Your file is available at http://filebin.ca/yaadvv/debug.err or http://filebin.ca/yaadvv Thanks again...hope this can be fixed.

Should have added that sound cut-off occurs just about anywhere. Some times before the the launch cut scene ends. It goes out on the main screen, in battles (if I get that far) or when saving a game. Pretty much anywhere and seemingly at random. Longest play stretch with sound has been about 15 minutes. Thanks again for the support you are providing.

Thanks...working on Labor Day Sunday??? I'm very impressed!!! I uploaded a brand new debug.err file from a non-Campaign game. Sound lasted about 3-4 minutes. File's at http://filebin.ca/qodfzj/debug.err or http://filebin.ca/qodfzj.

Major List #14...sound cutting out late in game: also add sound cutting out in first few minutes every single time. Posted under "no sound" in elemental support. Added my debug.err file a few days ago. Thanks...definitely appreciate Stardock's openness in getting Elemental right. I enjoy the game but not the silence!!

I hope I did this right...here is the link in filebin. Let me know if this worked. This sound-cut out occurred about 90 seconds after loading the game that went about 45 minutes this morning before losing all sound. Thanks. Your file is available at http://filebin.ca/umvcgd/debug.err or http://filebin.ca/umvcgd

Thought that 1.06 might have fixed the sound problem...all sounds lasted for about 45 minutes then stopped. Same as before, system reboot needed to restore sound to my system.

OK...I have an Alienware/Dell X58 motherboard with on board sound. Still have the sound cut-out. now usually no more than 30-45 seconds after the Campaign starts. Hope you can help.

I have Bose stereo speakers, the Companion 5 series with 2 speakers and subwoofer. Not sure I know how to answer the "on board device" question. Thanks for the follow up.

Did the 1.05 update today and still have the problem of sound (ALL sounds...effects, music, ambient, etc) that cut off after no more than 1-5 minutes of play time in the Campaign. Highly annoying as I have to reboot my PD to restore sound to all other applications. Operate with USB sound, Bose Stereo speakers. Any ideas???

One more clarification...for me it's all or nothing. Game starts out with good sounds for anywhere from 1-5 minutes, then absolutely nothing. Plus no sound for any thing else on my PC either...only way to get sound back is to reboot, and then only for another 1-5 minutes. Just have stereo speakers, no sound card.
