anoldman, Wouldn't mine fall under accurate too? I worked from several photos to match top, side, and front profiles very carefully. It's from the TV show, "Firefly", I didn't make it up... Thanks for the kind words either way. I hope some other Firefly fans will come in here and comment, I was very excited about this ship.

PS. It's at the bottom of the page, I believe...tried to edit my original post but I'm not sure if it worked or not, so I'm adding this message to my thread just in case....
Hey Browncoats out there (you know who you are), I just wanted to send you over to the thread where you can showcase your cool ship designs Link because I just completed my Firefly -class Freighter, 'Serenity' and would love to get your feedback on it. It's at the bottom of the page, last I checked. Thanks guys!
Well, hopefully someone will see this and comment on whether or not they like it. Took a LOT of time when I should have been sleeping to get ready for work tomorrow! LOL I frikkin' LOVE the ship designer! This is the Serenity, a Firefly-class freighter from the amazing TV show, "Firefly" by Joss Whedon. <br/
Cool beans. Good luck getting that card!
It was a real coup to have the StarForce thing happen, talk about LOADS of great free press, plus since everyone literally LOATHES StarFarce..er StarForce, they couldn't help but want to be on your side which in turn led them to discovering this great game that you guys have made. I think the most important thing to examine when looking at distributi
Okay..thank you everyone. I meant to say driver update, not patch. I do understand that it's not a patch. Doh! Well I wouldn't consider it a bug BUT it only showed up (thought I made this clear but sometimes I'm not terribly clear with my posts, sorry if that's the case) AFTER I'd installed the beta patch, which pointed more towards the patch than this driver update. Okay, about my ridiculous system..I honestly do not have any
Browncoat here...why you ask?
BUMPING for great justice and a decent answer at least...
I've had no problems with GalCiv 2 up until I installed the 1.1 beta upon which point I suddenly was afflicted with the wildly spinning planet and ship issue along with a map dragging wildly issue also. I did some research so as not to bog down the devs with a problem that maybe I could fix or figure out myself. Well after some research, I found the thread about dual-core issues. My problem is that the game did not showcase the (supposedl
Well hopefully this isn't going to get overlooked in the eight zillion posts in here but here are the two issues that I noticed with the game after installing the 1.1 beta patch (and yes, I have the latest drivers and all that): 1. Ship pictures and planet pictures rotating at wildly amazing speeds with no way to stop it from happening. 2. If you bring your mouse cursor down to below the bottom edge of the UI the screen totally s
People actually can get their morale scores over 100? I can hardly keep mine in the 60s - 80s, LOL
It may be good to remember, MT4K, that no everyone is remotely computer savvy or as familiar with their PC games and the methodologies of patching, listing version #s, etc...as some of us are. Someone might have seen those numbers and just totally ignored them as gibberish or unimportant.
How? As the first poster already wrote, you never see your own portrait in the game, do you?
Roger that, thanks for the info. I know about the focus buttons so that wasn't it...I guess I either didn't have enough factories or $$...one of the two I guess.
I'm not familiar with that game or mod...
I agree with pretty much all of the original poster's ideas, as long as the devs are able to make them work within the game balance. I see Repair and No-Cost Defence being problematic however. PS. Alfonse, no need to be rude and haughty. It's just a game, bro...chill out a little. Citizen Number Muncher isn't trying to ruin your favorite game, he's making suggestions, giving feedback. It's a time-honored tradition here in the game indus
Kalin, you said that I had redlined but even after I'd gotten money flowing again (was not negative at all) and had my sliders set appropriately (to get my social and military production rolling), it STILL seemed like there were many planets that were full of NEVERS (i.e this will NEVER be built)...just not sure what that's all about. TO everyone so far, thanks for the tips, they're awesome to read. One new question: "When buildi
Hey my fellow Galactic Citizens, I have a few questions about the game that I thought I'd throw up in a thread to see if I can get some advice in order to be more successful playing this game. Mainly, how come at some mid-point in the game, several of my planets begin to show totals of ZERO for Social, Military, AND Research production at the top of the screen and everything that's being built says it will be completed 'NEVER'??
A couple of things to remember in this discussion: 1. Consoles that use Hi-Def also require you to own/purchase an extremely spendy HDTV, which significantly adds to the price of having one, something often overlooked by Console fanboy/owners, in these kinds of discussion, not to mention the ever-greedy bundle system when purchasing an all-new console, whereby game stores force you purchase a huge glut of crap with your console thus raising
Keep the politics crap out of these forums...this is about gaming. No one wants to hear your political views (to those who wasted our time posting them). I agree with the original poster of this message, pretty strange ethical change to make from peace to war in one turn. LOL
I think there should be some way to correct bad spelling. Proposed is how it's spelled! But I like your idea too!
I have two 7800 GTX in SLI right now and have no problems with dual monitors or with GC2. Welcome to the community, though, Fallschirmjager88!
wow..this forum has truncated every post..can't read any of them barely. Figures, cause I need this info too...
Please never use that font or bold ever again in your posts, AoEFanatic. Ouch..my eyes are STILL burning. LOL
