Okay, my interface (in game) appearance has changed, and I can't figure out how or why. The frames and buttons used to be darker with different icon pictures, not it's silver and has new icon pictures. What happened, what am I missing? ~SDC~

That idea sounds fair, still updating existing games that I have already bought. That was counter to another response I got saying that I wouldn't be able to update any of my games without subscribing again. All I ask is support for what I already paid for. ~SDC~

it will be interesting to see that if they update the AI based on Metaverse games, if this will be considered an "exploit". Developing Combat Transports for the SOLE purpose of enhanching morale and controlling population levels sounds cheesy. Creative granted, but cheesy. ~SDC~

Again, I should make it clear that I am very pleased with the support this company has offered to date, and the responsiveness which you guys have in addressing concerns. I think much of it is groundbreaking, right in line with Bioware regarding Neverwinter Nights. What I would not want to see is a groundbreaking reversal in the opposite direction. I can see that maybe you wouldn't be able to download patches and updates as frequently, not being on Drengin.net, but I would at least expect the

So does that mean the end of support for games that you already bought and paid for? (i.e. when you say no more updates to existing games) That's a pretty significant downside to investing in games from this company if your support ends just like that. Mind you, I see lots of plus side elements this company has to offer, but I severely dislike them cutting off support until you fork over more dough. ~SDC~

My understanding is that GalCiv uses multi-threading in the program/A.I. Does this mean I finally have a game that utilizes my Hyper-Threading P4 3.06 Ghz to it's more full potential? Could this be the first game to use multi-threaded programing? It does play really, really fast. I never have to wait between turns so far, though I have yet to play a really big game yet. Thanks in advance. ~SDC~

Yes, I have noticed too that the download does not have the 1.01 patch or bonus pack. My Drengin.net number does not work when I go to download that file off the web site. Help would again be appreciated. ~SDC~

I purchased the full Drengin.net deal for 70 bucks, but I would still like to download the full install for GalCiv. Can you guys provide a link for that? The one yesterday doesn't seem to work, it just wants to download stardock central again. Vern ~SDC~

I was pleased with the fact that I could essentially just jump into the game and have some understanding of the game mechanics and interface with almost no reading. Not something I was capable of doing with any of the MOO series. I'm happy with my purchase. Vernmeister2u ~SDC~

One should realize, the Bill of Rights protects the people from the Government. Unless IG is a branch of the government, which it isn't, the First Amendment doesn't even come into to play. The Bill of Rights extends rights to the people that limit how the government can interfere in their lives. I hope this helps shed some light on the issue.
