Your understanding is correct. That would work if I have no other URL shortcuts on my desktop. What we would need in order to differentiate is an option like: AND 'URL' contains _____ In this case, the blank would be filled in with "steam://" and that should catch everything perfectly. Additionally, this functionality would ideally be usable with all types, so that on a regular shortcut we could say something like "'PATH' contains 'C:\Games'" or similar

Yeah, I'm using categories in Steam. And sure, recently played is good too. And I have no problem creating new shortcuts if I need to, that's not really the issue. The reason some of us are a little upset about this is that Fences already has the option to create automatic sorting rules. We just want to be able to use the path or URL of the shortcut as part of the sorting criteria, which really shouldn't be that difficult to implement. I'm beginning to

How is this not a thing? Seriously, why can't we create custom sorting rules based on Path or URL? I want to do this for my GOG games as well, which should be simple since they all get installed under the "GOG Games" directory. I just need to be able to tell Fences, "if PATH contains 'GOG' then add to 'GOG' Fence." It should be exactly the same for Steam URLs. It would have other great uses too, such as if I install all of my audio/video applications under their own subdir
