Here is a new one for me. Win11 2H22 and Start11 version 1.44. The downloads link (3rd from top) on the Start Menu shortcut list (below) does not work. See photo. I tried removing it and adding it back again and have the same problem. Not sure why it thinks it is an "app" vs. just a directory link. Sean, Seems to be fine in Win7 and Modern menu types. Attached is the way it looks in the native Win11 menu. The folder ms-resource: iCloudAppDisplay is not displayed at all and the included iCloud applets are alphabetized in the list. Interestingly, something changed here as this has been fine for over a year. Not sure if it is the iCloud installer, Win11 2H22, or the newest version of Start11 causing the change. <img src="https:

Set up a clean system noticed a few packages from the Windows store are displaying oddly on the Windows 10 Style app list. This is the Apple iCloud package and set of apps. It shows this odd folder name with the individual applets instead of just the applets. I think I might have figured something out. With 1.26 Beta and Win 22H2, the Windows 10 menu type dropped all the icons from ProgramData/Microsoft/Windows/Start Menu/Programs and you can't pin them again. The icons in AppData/Roaming/Microsoft/Windows/Start Menu/Programs are fine--they did not disappear and you can add others. Seems like a problem just for the icons in the ProgramData directory. Make sense?

Hmmm. Using the 1.26 Beta with Windows 10 menus and the release version of Window 11 22H2. Bunch of icons just disappeared from the start menu and you can't add them back. Nothing happens. Shame on me for installing the Beta but wanted to mention.

Weird problem.. When upgrading an existing program on my system, the icon/shortcut on both the all apps list and the start menu disappears. Just upgraded my VPN client and the installer first uninstalled the previous version and then installed the new one. The standard Win11 app list and start menu is fine but Start11 loses the app shortcut completely. Kind of a pain because Start11 does not think the app is installed on the system.
