No way I ever use Steam.Period. I refuse to be able to play only with online permanent connection.

The new builds seem way more unstable than 1.00 or even 0.9x... I could play for hours without crashes, now I have CTD after less than 1 hour ! And everytime I go back from the game to the main menu and load a save, CTD too..
Even not stackable only one Shrink makes a 50 attack (ie fearsome) becomes 25 (ie resistible with 20+ def)... Nope, I want a fixed effect !
Agreed Lord Xia, but about mages ?? We should have buildings enabling spell-like skills to add as traits to "real" mage units, so they could cast Burning Hands, then Flame Bolt with an upgraded mage building, etc... The game has tons of abilities that are monster-only, it would be fun to have some available to player units.
These spells are ridiculously powerful, a dragon shrunk twice is a pup! And as nothing has more than 50% spell resist, you only have to cast it 4-5 times, for a meager 5 mana each ! Compare that to a 50 mana Fireball that don't kill anything bigger/badder than a bear .. Same for Growth, that makes very cheap super warriors (combine that with a Crushing blow on your sovereign, and you'll do 100 damage !) Pls make them less powerful, with let's say -5/+5 attack/dodge

Tried it this evening, seems to crash much... In 1.30 hour of playing : Once on loading "in game" (ie go to menu then load while playing) Once then just while I was reviewing equipment after a fight. And I had no crashes since 0.9x builds !
I tend to agree with the OP: it's totally frustating to be crushed by unbeatable "wandering monsters" like Drakes...What's the point of having this ? There's no strategy involved, it's just random, and those biggies should at least be triggered by some events, have a story...
Ok thanks, did that, and will report the crashes - I didn't know this option existed after 10 years of Windows, bleh ! Yet is there no debug log at all in Elem beta ? Strange for a beta ...
Hi Just grabbed the Elemental beta by prepurchase, but no joy : the game runs fine for a couple minutes, then I got a hard PC reboot !! No idea from when it comes, I have an old rig (Athlon 2400, GF6600) but with up to date drivers - recent but not overly demanding games work correctly on it (Sims 3 for example). I expected to have some kind of log to go along the beta to help bug report, but I can find none, so can't report anything detailed... Any suggestion
