Used task manager to stop it, This needs to interact with desktops better and there needs to be an easier way to stop deskscapes, buts since restarted it no longer appears in task manager, so now the only way to stop it is to log off, sign back in, then if I want to stop it have to go to task manger again. I am forced to use this all the time, there is no simple way to go back windows background or another program. Deskscapes even when stopped over rides everything else, the latest picture fr

Tried going back to the windows pictures by stopping deskscapes, which by the way is huge pain, have to stop the deskscapes service, when I did that and started deskscapes again , same problem. Not a big issue if I choose to always use Deskscapes but If choose to stop it, that is an issue
Yeah great that works until I stopped Deskscapes. Once I restart same problem
@joeshades, I guess that means I'm not the only one having this issue. Good to know!
This app is useless if it does not work when switching desktops
Is there any fix for this, if not I want my money back
This program does not work, switch desktops and it stops, on latest windows 11 version
Please add the never combine option, I do not want to switch to startisback
Hi, the regular price for Start11 is 5,99 €. The discounted price (if you own start10) is 4,99 €. Is that an error? From what I can see, "all" you get from Start11 is rounded corners. There are no new features (please correct me if I am mistaken). KInd regards
Start 10 does not work on windows 11 so you get no features with start 10.
Does Start 11 allow me to control the "Combine taskbar buttons" behavior that windows 10 used to have? It looks like windows 11 forces to "Always, hide labels".
I hope they can do something about this issue
And here is the news https://forums.stardock.com/506298
Great!! is there also anything stardock can do to fix the taskbar? especially bringing back the ability to uncombine taskbar icons
Hi. Thank you for your valuable contribution to my thread. Your point is duly noted. Stardock engineers should know very well what styles are preferred by Start10 users. I am sure they can add another Windows 11 style by the other three styles including your preferred Modern Style if they decide to accept my suggestion. Currently my PC does not meet hardware requirements of Windows 11 due to lack of
Hi all. I would very much like to have a Windows 11 Style Menu arrangement in Style page of Start10. This is to make Windows 10 look like Windows 11. If needed, Modern Style may be removed from the Style page to make room for Windows 11 Start Menu item. Reduced 94% <img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums/21/81/2181182/0931009b-c2d2-489
Sorry, I don't like W7 Start same as W11. That's why my question.
The W7 and W11 start menu are nothing alike
The Start menu for windows 10 is not much better, the one for 7 was much better
With the pure horror that is the Windows 11 start menu (I had to roll back to Windows 10 a complete derailing of my workflows and regression to middle ages in relation to usability). So strongly hoping that stardock will release a windows 10 start menu for Windows 11 just like you created a "win7" menu for Windows 10. I . would . buy . at . once !!!
So I have been following the threads on this forum and, using Winaero Tweaker, I was able to get the Start10 button to show in the lower left corner. However, if I use a "Windows 10 style" start menu, nothing at all happens when I click the button or hit the Windows key. Without Winaero Tweaker, the button is missing and hitting Windows key just brings up the Windows 11 Start menu. However, if I choose the Windows 7 or "Modern" style Start menu, those wo
With the impending release of Windows 11, I am curious to know if Start 10 will be compatible, or will there be a 'Start 11'? If the latter, will my existing Start 10 keys work, or will I have to buy a new copy?
It is only a few dollars, can't hurt to donate for use for many more years
I heard that in open shell if you change the start button then it works so maybe it does the same in Start 10
The New taskbar and start menu are both garbage
Also it looks like there is no option in Windows 11 to not combine taskbar buttons so hopefully that option can be added by Stardock
I hope all my programs work with Windows 11, some are not updated anymore but work fine in Windows 10 and the taskbar in 11 looks like crap so hopefully they have more options for that
I really hope this works in Windows 11 because that start menu looks even worse than what there is now
Ok I will try that later on tonite or tomorrow, thanks for the help!
