I rolled back to Windows 8.1 because I didn't like the way Windowblinds was deploying. In particular, the window backgrounds were distorted. Between that and all the gentle persuasion to give over my personal data, I decided I didn't dislike Windows 8.1 nearly as much as I thought I did. When Windowblinds becomes available for 10, I'll think more seriously about giving in, but I'm sure not in any rush.

I normally don't like to bring up an older thread, but I just purchased Icon Packager and it does not restore the default live folders in windows 8.1 basic 64-bit. The advertising still indicates that it's fine for 8 and 8.1, so I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong.

I have to agree with the original poster on this, especially since Microsoft has stripped Windows 8 and 8.1 of their packaged sound schemes. Seems to me that Stardock could do very well with an updated version of Soundpackager - I sure know I want it very much.
