Hi, I finally could resolve the issue with the following steps: uninstall Start11 re-install StartAllBack move taskbar location from left to screen bottom uninstall StartAllBack re-install Start11 (v2.56) Cheers André

Tried a clean boot, but to no avail. Taskbar icons do not work as expected, when taskbar is on left side of screen. As mentioned, this is linked to the user account. In a different user account, left orientation does work (both in clean and normal boot). FWIW, I just noted, that when the icons on the taskbar are not responsive, also a right click does not open the context menu (in which you a.o. would find "configure Start11"). André
Upgrading to 2.56 Beta did not improve things.
No, I don't use Deskscapes. That hint could lead somewhere. I tried Start11 with a different user account, with which I had not used StartAllBack. The latter had been installed globally, but I never logged into that different account as long as it was installed on my computer. On this alternative account the taskbar works fine on the left side, too. Could you point me to where I might need to clean something up? Like AppData, registry ... Otherwise I will install 2.56
Thanks for your support. Nothing, which currently is installed. I had been testing StartAllBack though. But I uninstalled it prior to installation of Start11. Best André
/uninstalled, immediately rebooted, re-installed latest stable version from account (v2.55) /issue persists André
Hi there, / Start11 v2.55 / Win11 25H2 Build 26200.6899 / Problem: In normal operation, task bar icons are not responsive. This applies for both icons of running or sticky apps. Start 11 and OS auto-hiding are disabled. I found 2 mitigations, that obviously are still annoying _and_ don't work to 100% - press windows key on keyboard - klick onto desktop, then immediately move mouse over taskbar Klicking on
