I had the Torians surrender to me instead of giving in to the Arceans, which gave me two fronts to fight on and a lot of sectors in between my 2 areas of space.

I really wish that had crossed my mind while I was in the game. Guess I shouldn't stay up all night playing.

alliances in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

I didn't see it anywhere, but is it possible to get someone to break off their alliance with another civ? I did see anything that allowed that in the diplo screen.

Surrender? in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

Just curious, and hopefully I won't run into the situation again :), but is it possible to surrender or resign the game? I was playing my first game and on the losing end of a 2 v 1 conflict among the last 3 civs. There came a point when I knew I wasnt going to win or even stop the war, but to finish the game I had to keep going until every system had been conquered.
