Thanx for these hints. I have overseen the "main" settings page. I was under the assupmtion that only the sub items contains options. For now I'm fine, but agian, closing all tabs with the "main" close button of a tabbed window would be more "productive" than clicking, selecting and clicking againg using the tree dots menu. Just my two cents...

I was using Clover for many years on Win7, but it was not running on Win10 at the beginning and now it does but it ended up in being a toy + commercial app. I was happy to find Groupy and I love it. However, I struggle with Groupy's way of grouping windows while I move windows around. Even with Groupy 1.2 (which adds a delay) I often end up with a tabbed group of windows in an unintended way.
