It won't let me change permissions on folder only .lnk files, besides this I kind of like Windows 10, thanks for your help.

This was an upgrade, I forgot to tell you in the previous reply.
The error I get is "This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Please install a program or, if one is already installed, create an association in the Default Programs control panel". To fix this I right click and click on properties, then I go to the Security Tab and select Advanced. I select the Permissions Tab and click on Continue. Under owner I select Change, I then enter an Object name and click on Ok. I then close all of the dialogs
The links in the All Program section don't have their icons, it shows only a blank icon, I can fix it by changing the Read permissions for the link, but I have quite a few programs and this would take a lot of time. Do you have a fix for this? Thank you for you time.
I just purchased Start 10 and would like to know why none of my menu links won't work in Windows 10.
