Microsoft Office Word/Excel 2003 in Object Desktop WinCustomize Forums

So I have this issue.. When I open Word 2003 it will freeze at the splash screen. Close it out, restart it in safe mode, won't open anything. When I open Excel 2003 it will not open any files whatsoever. When I open Norton to run a manual virus scan, it will not run one. It also only seems to run the weekly scheduled scan whenever it feels like it. This is associated in some form or another to Object Desktop. How do I
