I saw that but wasn't sure what it meant. How else would Windows determine which apps to show if not by run count? Regardless, turning that option on doesn't have any affect on my problem....shortcuts to Word documents, Excel spreadsheets and batch files still show up on the RUA list. I think what this needs is an option to Only Show Executables or something like that.

Thanks, Stefan, and your english is just fine. The tweak program appears to control what you can search for, but it doesn't seem to have any effect on what shows up in the RUA list.

Is there a way to configure what shows up in the Recently Used Applications listing? I'm getting Desktop shortcuts to batch files and documents and also Control Panel items showing up in there. I know that technically these items could be considered RUA's, but I'm looking for a way to make Start8 mimic how previous versions of Windows populated that section. Thanks for a terrific product!
