I also really like the list view offered by the folder portal, and would like to see this functionality added to fences. Alternatively, if I could assign all new icons to a folder portal, that would solve my problem as well. Ultimately, I need something where all new icons show up, and are organized in large icon list view. (please) Thanks!!!

I'm having the same issue. I set the view on a folder portal to list, and it reverts to icon. I am using Fences 2, and would definitely upgrade to 3 if i had any confidence that the issue had been resolved. From the post history above, it sounds like this issue has never been addressed in any version of Fences. Can someone please give me an update, and let me know if there has been a fix? Thanks,
